Six Killed in Truck-Microbus Collision in Natore’s Baraigram

 Six people lost their lives in a head-on collision between a truck and a microbus in the Shrirampur area of Natore’s Baraigram Upazila. The tragic incident occurred on Wednesday (July 23, 2025) around 10:30 AM near the Airmari Bridge. The Officer-in-Charge (OC) of Bonpara Highway Police Station, Ismail Hossain, confirmed the details to Our Agent.

According to OC Ismail Hossain, the accident took place when a Rajshahi-bound microbus collided with a truck coming from the opposite direction. The impact was so severe that the microbus was mangled, resulting in the immediate death of six individuals. The identities of the deceased could not be confirmed at the time of reporting.

Following the accident, police and fire service personnel rushed to the scene and initiated rescue operations. The injured were taken to nearby hospitals for treatment. The police have seized the truck, though the driver reportedly fled the scene. An investigation is underway, and legal proceedings have been initiated.
