The body was found early in the morning near the Ulail Bridge on the Dhaka-Aricha highway and was taken to the Savar Upazila Health Complex by passersby.
According to police, Rasel resided in a mess in Shobhapur, Savar, and was employed locally. His family has been informed, and further details will be available once his relatives arrive.
Savar Model Police Station Sub-Inspector Mohammad Abdus Samad Mallik stated that the body, found in a bloodied condition, was sent for autopsy. "The body had multiple deep wounds, likely caused by a sharp weapon such as a knife," he said. A murder case will be filed, and an investigation is underway to identify and apprehend the perpetrators. The incident has sparked concern in the area, with locals demanding swift justice.
