Gas Balloon Explosion in Manik Mia Avenue Injures 10

 In a tragic incident, a gas balloon explosion in the Manik Mia Avenue area of the capital left 10 people injured. The incident occurred around 3 PM on Tuesday (August 5). The victims were immediately rescued and taken to the emergency department of the National Burn and Plastic Surgery Institute for treatment.

The injured individuals are: Mazharul Islam (27), Billal (45), Fahad (20), Md. Monsur Islam (38), Sharif (32), Palash (21), Md. Habibullah (23), Md. Yasin (25), Mishu (23), and Mihat (17).

Dr. Shaon Bin Rahman, a resident surgeon at the National Burn and Plastic Surgery Institute, confirmed the incident. He stated, “So far, 10 people have been admitted to our hospital following a gas balloon explosion in Manik Mia Avenue. They are receiving treatment in the emergency department.”
