Youth Shot Dead in Chittagong’s Chakaria

 In a tragic incident, a young man named Mohammad Suhayet (35) was shot dead by miscreants in Ajmongar, Badrkhali, under Chakaria Upazila of Cox’s Bazar. The deceased, Suhayet, was the son of Nurul Aziz from Mognama Para in Ward No. 6 of Badrkhali Union.

The incident occurred around 12 AM on Friday (August 1) in front of Ajmongar School in Block No. 3 of Badrkhali Union. According to reports, Suhayet was standing alone by the roadside when he was shot from an auto-rickshaw, resulting in his immediate death at the scene.

The Officer-in-Charge (OC) of Chakaria Police Station, Md. Shafiqul Islam, stated that an investigation is underway to determine the motive behind the killing. Efforts are ongoing to apprehend those involved and bring them to justice.
